Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center
The Gaines/Oldham Black Culture Center (GOBCC) serves as a comfortable “home away from home” where the campus community can gather to study, relax and socialize with friends. With its educational, social and cultural programming meant to foster inclusion and a sense of belonging, the GOBCC strives to create a supportive environment where students, faculty and staff can thrive in community.
Multicultural Center
The Multicultural Center celebrates the rich cultural diversity of the University of Missouri community and aims to create a vibrant space that supports cross-cultural learning and engagement. Through thought-provoking conversations, unique programming and social gatherings, the MCC provides a space where students can gain a better understanding of each other’s cultural heritage and traditions.
LGBTQ Resource Center
The LGBTQ Resource Center at the University of Missouri works to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. The center serves as a campus and community resource through the development of healthy communities, strategic partnerships and leadership and identity development within a culture of celebration and inclusion.
Relationship and Sexual Violence Prevention (RSVP) Center
The RSVP Center is committed to ending interpersonal, including gender- and identity-based violence on our campus through education, prevention and response.
Women's Center
The Women's Center provides resources and educational and community-building opportunities. Through events that include social, cultural and educational programs, communities at Mizzou are celebrated.

TriO Student Support Services
TRiO SSS provides financial, academic and social support to aid students in achieving college success. All students must meet certain requirements and apply to get involved.
Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE)
The Center for Academic Success & Excellence (CASE) supports the educational achievement of underserved students who receive scholarships from the university through individualized attention and cohort-based programming. CASE intentionally recognizes students as scholars and promotes positive identity development that contributes to retention and graduation. The center also develops and maintains strategic partnerships with academic units to assist students as they navigate the transition into and through college.
Academic Coaching- Learning Center
This free service gives students the tools to succeed academically. Students can schedule a one-on-one meeting with an Academic Coach to learn and practice studentship skills, such as effective note-taking, studying strategies, time management, and identifying resources.
Tiger Tutors- Learning Center
The goal of Tiger Tutors is to provide an overview of course content for students enrolled at Mizzou.
Learning Center
The Learning Center aims to provide instruction that deepens and enriches students’ understanding of the classes in which they enroll. Through peer and professional instruction, the Learning Center increase students’ satisfaction with their educational and interpersonal experiences at MU
Department of Undergrad Research
The Office of Undergraduate Research fosters and supports mentored undergraduate research, scholarship and creative activity in a premiere research environment.
Discovery Center
The Discovery Center is the home for exploring students, and students across campus considering a change in major or in need of assistance in determining new options.
Writing Center
The Writing Center supports anyone with a pawprint (including faculty, postdocs, and distanced-students) completely free of charge throughout their time at Mizzou via in-person appointments at the Columbia campus, Zoom appointments, and asynchronous responses through the Online Writery. Writers of all levels can expect detailed feedback and revision options focused on “Higher Order Concerns” and “later order concerns” for any stage of the writing process, regardless of the modality in which they utilize Writing Centerservices.
Disability Center
The Disability Center serves as a leader in advocating for equal access and inclusion of Mizzou’s students with disabilities. Through collaboration, we facilitate the provision of accommodations to students, offers educational programming, and provides consultation to the university community.

Student Health & Well-Being
Seeing a health care provider is easy. Simply call 573-882-7481 to schedule an appointment. Typically, you can be seen the same or next day. Call the same number to reach an after-hours phone nurse.
Counseling Center
Students experiencing mental health issues or are interested in services, visit the Counseling Center.
Truman's Closet
Truman’s Closet offers Mizzou and MU Health Care students, staff, and faculty a way to borrow professional and business attire appropriate for career fairs, interviews, and the workplace. Clothing can affect one’s confidence and how they are perceived by others. There are times, such as interviews, where the first impression is everything.
Tiger Pantry
Tiger Pantry strives to serve, educate and empower those facing food insecurity within the University of Missouri community. We advocate to change the perception of hunger on campus and to offer resources to students, faculty, and staff so that they may focus on the experiences uniquely available at Mizzou.
University of Missouri Police Department (MUPD)
MUPD is an internationally accredited law enforcement agency with the Commission on Law Enforcement Accreditation (CALEA) and the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA). All of our department members strive to help keep our campus safe and enhance community policing.
Financial Resources
Office of Cashiers
The Office of Cashiers, a unit within the Division of Finance and Business Services, is responsible for managing student finances and consists of five main areas: student account billing and collection, cashiering services, refund processing, sponsor billing, and institutional student loans. The Division of Finance and Business Services has overall responsibility for creating a financial environment on campus that meets fiduciary responsibilities, demonstrates stewardship and meets all of our regulatory requirements.
Office of Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid promotes excellent customer service while educating students, families, campus and the community about Financial Aid resources in order to promote access in higher education. We strive to administer aid programs in an accurate and equitable manner while complying with federal, state, private and institutional rules and regulations.
